can anyone tell me what superchips remap is like????

My S3 has a Superchips remap. It was done before I had joined this forum so I didn't really know too much about remaps back then.

It is good, fast and reliable but can sometimes feel a bit much. Sometimes it isn't the smoothest delivery of the power either. I don't regret it, and haven't ever thought of changing it, but I would recommend you do some research into other companies, preferably somewhere that will remap your car and put it on a rolling road to set it up properly.

The most popular remap companies on here seem to be Revo or AMD, but it really all depends on where you are located, and what companies are near you.

What year is your S3??

How many miles have you covered since superchips remapped your car Mills? Any problems?

The car was remapped from new, before it was even delivered, Isaac Agnew Audi arranged it. The car has nowh covered 45k miles.

The only problems I've had are split vacuum and turbo hoses. They've been replaced 3 times so far, all under warranty though. In fact I'm picking the car up from Audi this afternoon, it's just had the hoses replaced!

45k with no trouble is very good. Split hoses are no surprise though, I have heard it is common on the S3

Superchips cant be bad - I know VW racing used them on several of their cars for track use in the past, and I cant imagien they would put a dodgy remap on a car on the track as it would look bad if it didnt work well.

MY only other experience is with AMD who I would use again and RSD (Oettinger) who I would also consider.
