jdearauj
Hi, Can anybody give me advice other than taking the car to the stealers when the engine management light comes on? Thanks
Petem95
The light came on on mine, and according to the dealer it was because the "cat converter was not operating as efficiently as it could be". The emissions were barely higher than normal, and well within MOT limits, so I decided not to spend 750quid on getting them to fit a new cat... the light has since gone out on its own accord
BenjaminTDI
find someone with VAG-com and read/clear the code.
the911sc
Its usually an indication that the Lambda probe is faulty,(it measures the o2 in the exhaust and adjusts the mixture). It wont be the cat unless the lambda has been faulty for a while.
