CMC950
Anyone know of a VW dealership that has a Gti with DSG and PADDLES for testdrive? I live in London and my local dealer has one without paddles that a got to drive for a whopping 10 minutes. What a joke!
petsy
Can't really help but all the MY 2006 GTIs with dsg come with paddles. The fact that your dealer has one without paddles indicates that it is a 2005 model.

AliJay
[ QUOTE ] steer well clear of VW chiswick - bad experience [/ QUOTE ] Good to hear I'm not the only one who's had a bad experience with this outfit, at least I know it wasn't personal. nutkins
Hi CMC950 Not sure what part of London you're in but Abridge Harlow (25 mins from East London) have a DSG with paddles - I test drove it last Saturday
CMC950
Cheers all, I've discovered that outside London far is better! After applying some pressure, Watford VW decided they will insure me on their test car and let me have it for an hour, without the salesrep on board. It has paddles too. Wicked. I'll post feedback on Monday.
nutkins
Well done - My test drive was short and naff too, with lots of traffic - It didn't really help me decide on DSG, which was a shame.

Vman
I must have got lucky as my local dealer gave me there dsg Gti for the weekend and the salesman who went out of his way will get my money when I decide to put my order in. The Ford ST test drive was 15mins and the VXR was only about 10mins which was a joke.
