Hi all

Just run a full scan on my car with VAG-COM and here and some interesting snippets that i'd welcome input from the great wise ones on here...

Any input greatly appreciated. The car is going into Audi on Tuesday for investigations into front brakes, so anything that i could get them to look at at the same time etc...

Your ABS/ESP fault has two possible reasons:

1) There is a brake in the CAN bus signal between the J104 Control Unitl (assume this is the ESP unit) and the Gearbox Control unit (known as the TCU).

2) The TCU has a fault code stored.

You ought to get them to check the TCU for a fault.

The TV tuner fault is pretty well irrelevant - it means that the TV standard (UK PAL) has been selected from the H/U, but not coded into the tuner itself. As far as I'm aware, you can only do this with VAG-COM (or equivalent) - by positively setting the coding to 30.
