JAYDR32
Cheers to Mook and Chri5 for the heads up on the tyres and tracking pointers. Tyres done today, two MPS2's fitted and balanced £270 all in and managed to find somewhere to sort the front tracking, VW had quoted me £180 quid, needed to the phone them on something else so asked out of interest, they claimed it was a two hour job... Anyway, few calls today and found somewhere local who did it in 20 mins and charged me 30 squid and talked me through the whole process and showed me the calibration.. All in all well pleased, just makes me think yet again, VW rip you off if we can!!!

My £332 service consisted of £207 pounds of labour just for changing a few oils and a spark plug. Its so annoying that you take your car in knowing that they are going to rob you blind. Ive contacted VW-UK and they say its not up to them what labour charges the individual garages impose. A right cop out i thought. Surely there is something we can do?. Any legal begal R32 drivers out there that can suggest something?
JAYDR32
It totally sucks tspar, I agree mate. Not sure what we can do as its seems so widespread and VW are clearly saying its up to the individual dealers but they are all doing it although it seems from previous threads some time ago there was quite a variation in 1st service charges but on the whole still daylight robbery!!
