Oivind
I want to replace the trim around my gearlever. How to do it? It's an A4 2002 Pardon my english don't have a dictionary on this computer
UBM
Hello! The trim just pulls out it one piece. Open the ashtray cover and push the trim upwards. You may have to take the gear level gaiter off the old trim, but I doubt it. The new trim just clicks back in!

UBM
Thought so - Just pull it off. You don't need to remove the gear lever knob or anything. If the leather gaiter is still attached, which it shouldn;t be, just prise off the clips holding it in place! IIRC the gaiter is held in place on a secondary metal mount underneath the trim part A!
