JamesB
I'm trying to arrange a trip for two to see a Barcelona game. Does anybody know if there is a company that does this kind of thing as a package (i.e. flight, hotel and game) and am I being ambitious if I think I can get a game this season? Any help will be gratefully received.
DHA
Should not be a problem. Went with 15 others on a stag do a few years back. Got front row seats on the middle tier behind the goal. Not sure on a site for you. Expedia or last minute might do it for you.
BobF
Went to a game last September - Barca V Majorca 2-0. We went to the ground on Friday to see the Museum - They were selling tickets for the game that Sunday night - qued about 20mins for a ticket. Ours was in the top tier opposite the dugouts and level with the edge of the penalty area - Cost us £40-50 each (behind the goals is cheaper) - you have to sit high to get the atmosphere and take in what is a breathtaking stadium
JamesB
Thanks, gents It's for my parents-in-law so I really want to arrange an all-inclusive package. This place looks promising I'll aim for seats quite high up then.
DHA
At least the middle tier I would say. Not sure you want right at the top of the top tier as it is pretty high!!
JamesB
I'm tempted to go for as high as possible. My mother-in-law is afraid of heights

BobF
I would say just don't sit lower than the middle tier as you'll not get the atmosphere. The top tier is high up, but didn't seem it when we were sitting in our seats. You can still make out the players especially Ronaldinho!

JamesB
Hi Bob, Thanks for asking . I did some research and had a word with my father-in-law (who was trying to arrange this as a surprise for my mother-in-law's birthday) but he is no longer sure whether Barcelona is on the cards. I actually spent a reasonable amount of time on it so was initially a little irritated but then it struck me that I could always use the knowledge for myself in the future
Smudge
Here's me, on the ball (no pun intended) as usual! I went to Barca vs Espanoil last season. Sat in the lower 3rd of the top tier & the view was bob on. If you can, do the stadium tour. It's nothing mind blowing, but it is interesting to see so many different views, esp on the touch line. Talk about intimidation!
