Booster
If so, I think any car dealer would accept pretty much any offer for any car! I've been working in car finance for 10 years this summer and never before have I come into work on a Monday morning to find NO finance proposals on the fax I have spoken to three of our biggest dealerships this morning (one has a stock of around 200 cars) and not one of them has sold a car over the weekend! Things are looking pretty bad out there!
Newbie123
Yep seems that way at the moment. I was going to order my vehicle from an internet leasing firm which was the lowest price I'd seen anywhere. For my local bmw dealer to then match that offer (10.5% discount) still has me in shock. Times must really hard at the moment, the salesman must have asked me at least half a dozen times if I knew anyone else who was looking at changing vehicles soon. NewNiceMrMe
Hmm, well our local Volvo dealer doesn't seem too desperate. In fact they're proving very hard to deal with indeed. Salesman educated at Borstal probably isn't helping, but hey, we'll get there eventually....I think!

They wouldn't let me test drive a Vectra a few years back, so I bought an accord instead (long story).
hotdog
Serious Rich!! And I would agree, they are absolutely appalling up there now. I would say that though. My bestest mate was service manager about ooh, six years ago!! It used to be more like a social club than a car dealership And I still haven't done my sticker
