shakie1973
Hi all, Im about to order an 06 golf GTI,but im having great difficulty choosing a colour. It's between steel grey and either graphite blue or laser blue......now i've just been told laser blue has been discontinued and replaced with a similar coloured pearl blue. Can anyone tell me where it differs from the laser. And which do you guys think is a good colour
DaddyDub
Go for Blue Graphite IMO. Laser Blue is a Pearlescent (Pearl) colour anyway so the stealer dont know what they are on about. Hope that helps. DD
allanon_1980
I was one of the last to get laser blue and I must say I love it. Its the nicest colour ive had on any car. When properly cleaned its the deepest most lush colour ever really like it !!

asta
Inky blue is nicer of course. Although I really liked my Steel Grey astra (grey or blue for me so that would be a hard choice)
TP27
Doubt you can order DBP on a GTi......
Mook
It's an R32 colour only (being the official VW Racing colour and all that). I guess if you paid a dealer enough for a complete respray you could get a GTI in DBP - but for the extra £5-6K it would cost, you might as well buy an R32 instead... DaddyDub
DBP was only a R32 colour but im sure I read somewhere you used to be able to order it on Touaregs too!?
shao_khan
I think there was a Ltd Touareg something like Dakar that was available in DBP, not sure it was a UK car though.
mulkbear
Deep Blue Pearl you could order the W8 pasaat in that colour when it was in production, I still prefer R32 (MK4) in black. I would order the GTI in White or Red, Classic colours for a GTI
Mook
[ QUOTE ] still prefer R32 (MK4) in black. [/ QUOTE ] Don't say that Smudge has been getting to you as well Mulky Blue R32s are definitely quicker...
