sidicks
I'm currently thinking about a trip to Hawaii later in the year. See here: My post in holiday forum Although I'm only expecting to do maybe 3 dives or so, it would be good to make sure I choose appropriate hotels / islands with access to the best dive sites etc - Where would you recommend? For reference, I have my advanced open water qualification, and NITROX, but I'm not what you'd call an experienced diver (less than 15 dives in total), so I don't want to do any dives that are particularly advanced or difficult. Would also prefer to pay £££ to get an instructor as a buddy to show me round, as I'd feel much more comfortable that way !! JoeNobody
Get a copy of the January edition of Sport Diver - it has an article on diving in Hawaii. It covers diving in Maui. www.5starscuba.com www.lahainadivers.com

ChaiHal
Molokini! It's a must! I did my Advance Open Water in Maui. The Maui Dive Shop were pretty good as a training organisation, the final 30m dive was at Molokini, it took ages to get too, but how many people can say they have dived a Volcano Crater? Take a look at this http://www.molokini.us/ Just for the record I was diving there this time last year, so it was pretty quiet on the diving front, we got an instructor just for my wife and myself.
