markallen
Seem to remember someone posting a step-by-step guide (including pictures) for fitting the Denison ICE link including cradle for the ipod in here a few months back. Can't find it for the life of me and stupidly forgot to take a note of it at the time. Anybody remember the thread or have a link? Any help would be gratefully received. RedRobin
Although I have never done it....And probably because I've never done it!....I would allow much more than the suggested 35 minutes unless you have done plenty such installations before. mu71rd
yes, it does take a bit longer than that. I found the first panel took about 20 minutes to get off, because of sheer nerves! the rest are a little easier.
RedRobin
I know just what you mean about the "sheer nerves"!! What if I break it? What if I can't get it back on? What if I lose a vital part down the back or down a duct and it buggers up the aircon? etc etc

[/ QUOTE ] Well I managed the whole install in 40 mins this afternoon (VW OEM IPod Kit) To be honest it was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. The worst bit was putting all the flimsy plastic vents back in place
nutkins
Hi Mainy - where have you located the Ipod?
mainy
I've decided just to put it in the cupholder cubby beside the handbrake. That way I can keep it out of site from prying eyes AFAIK RedRobin employs a similar technique
RedRobin
I never leave my iPod in my car but when being used it either sits besides my handbrake or my passenger's lap as she is a control freak and loves all the buttons etc. I'm not even allowed to control the SatNav if she's with me....Teenage girls!!
