Malcolm44
Am about to do the Sat nav install in my B7 A4. Does anyone have a quick step by stem on taking apart the centre consul that would allow the new double din cage in ?. Thanks in advance
edo
Having seen Craig do this to mine, good luck! It is no small job, and involves cutting and all sorts! The whole centre section between the seats needs to come out too...

nicknick
Try here .. http://etka.auto2.ru/?lang=eng They might do B7 info ...should give you a rough idea. Otherwise buy the detailed VAG info from erwin (try a google for exact site).
harddrive
I retrofitted an RNS-E unit this week in place of a concert II single din in my mates A4. I am in the process of doing the write up but I am only half way through and on page 10 of the document. I will post the completed manual at the end of the week on our website http://www.audiretrofit.co.uk and will also advise people on TSN that this has been uploaded. Be warned that there is a bit of cutting to the center tunnel required but I hope to upload a template of what needs cutting out
harddrive
I have today posted the retrofit article on the RNS-E install so you should be able to use this when going from a single to double din. All you need to do is visit www.audiretrofit.co.uk go to the A4 page and click on the RNS-E picture. Hope it helps. HD
Malcolm44
I have now fitted the RNS-E. Thanks to Harddrive for the info. It was just what the doctor ordered. In all it took me about 4 hours including the DVD install in the glovebox (and cutting the air-con unit). Just need to get it VAG'd tomorrow. Thank you for all your help
