sTTu
Now into nine months of ownership and 3000 miles later, I can't find much fault with my cab (3.0 multi 2WD) apart from it wheel spins like a bugger ! Even with a modest amount of right foot when pulling away and its off and the traction light on the dash is flashing like mad. Its just a bit embarrasing if nothing else. Anyone else suffer from this ?

Biscuits
Went for a spin in the missus Golf GTi 1.8T last week... going round corners like a barge, wheel spinning all the time.... thought she'd got a flat.... guess I've got used to the effects of Quattro too... [/ QUOTE ] To get the best launches, I use manual mode so the throttle control is smooth, otherwise pressing hard launches the kick-down feature which sends 100% throttle. After 45000 miles of playing in mine (same as yours - 3.0 multritronic FWD cab), I reckon I've got it pretty spot on now! I'm tend to flick between D, S and manual mode frequently, as no one mode is perfect for every occasion. I love the multitronic box though... effortlessly smooth when cruising, but no gear-change lag when in manual mode! I guess DSG would be even better! UBM
I noticed that a lot in my FWD manual 3.0 cab. It was terrible and the torque steer worse. That's one of the reasons it went...
