Zzz
Hi Anyone have any ideas on what mobile phone kit is suitable with an A3 2004? Can the audi mobile kit be retro-fitted? Does it intregrate with the trip computer screen? And lastly, i want to avoid bluetooth as my crappy phone battery last about ten minutes with talk time (Nokia 8800). And one more question, given that my car is relatively clean i would like to add it to the gallery. What do i need to do about photo size and where to upload? Ive decided to have an auto eletric window closer kit fitted by these people, www.hydeparkcorner.co.uk - anyone used them before? Sorry for all the questions! Thanks in advance. Booster
I've got a Nokia bluetooth kit fitted to my car. Its completely hidden (even the button to make and receive calls). The Audi kit has hardly any new phone cradles available. I would avoid this. Why would you want to have an auto-window closer fitted? Just press and hold the lock button on your key and the windows will go up.
rjgreen4
I bought a Alpine sat nav system from there(£2200), seemed ok service wise and there was a car valetting place behind the store, gave my car a full clean as well. Would use them again
Zzz
booster!!! Thank g-d you posted! I really had no idea about the window closer option! And also, been thinking it seems silly to not have a bluetooth set-up just because of the phone battery. The nokia 8800 doesnt have a car charger mount. What would have been better is if my smartnav www.smartnav.co.uk has an additional bluetooth ability. You can divert calls to the unit, but cant make calls. Also you have to remember to 'undivert'. If anyone wants any info about smartnav units, be happy to help. Overall, its quite good but suffers from reception in certain areas. However, the 'live' traffic re-route is brillant. Thanks again (and thanks for this forum!)
