Insurance Jon
I'm posting here as there is no limo section! I've been loking for a second limo now and I've stumbled across this and as it only takes 8 in the back I thought with all the over 8 problems at the moment it could bridge the gap so to speak. It would also work well for executive rentals too i think. The TSN collectives thoughts would be appreciated as it's kinda market reasearch before I throw another 75k at a car. http://www.limoworlduk.com/H6%20Master/H6%20home.html

Insurance Jon
it's 7 ft shorter than the one I have now. I wanted black but the DCLA aren't registering anymore hummer limos due to a change in the regs on 10/12/05 so I need to buy one thats already here (good for residuals though)that chapagne colour aint that bad in the flesh, but I could always respray it. theduisbergkid
God I hate Hummers. Good luck with the business venture though Jon. PS - There's no way that qualifies for scumball either ...
Botang
Most partys would be up to 8 though wouldnt they, if so go for it
Insurance Jon
[ QUOTE ] God I hate Hummers. Good luck with the business venture though Jon. PS - There's no way that qualifies for scumball either ... [/ QUOTE ] I don't particulalry like them myself either, but I need our service to be different, and it works, we're wone of the few limo firms busy in January. I'm not taking it on the scumball either, it's the middle of the prom season $$$$$$$. I going a day ahead of you lot so Omi has said I can take the RS4 as it wouldn't be fun driving a shitbox without loads of other shitboxs in convoy. Plus I defo have to get there without breaking down as I'll have the ring tickets etc!

TriGGa
not really a hummer fan (well i was at first but the "commonality" of it all has really ruined it for me) .. but i dont think this "players edition" is even slightly good lookin! however, if you believe theres a market for it.. GO for it! good luck!
Insurance Jon
thats the point trig, i'm trying to gauge reaction before i take the plunge. the more replies the better so i get a good idea of how popular they are
Lee_
I imagine that would have a market for people are going to the 6th form prom's, last day of schools, etc. As it has a much 'cooler' image than a 'normal' limo.
fjfr
Personally, I hate limos. I hate the idea, I hate the experience. But. For our 6th form ball, the gals at our table wanted a limo, and not just any limo. The girlies wouldn't accept anything EXCEPT for a hummer limo (even tho we got an escalade (but same idea)) - so the market is defo there! PS. Good luck! Pidge
If i was hiring a hummer limo i'd want the beast rather than a 6 wheel gimick unless there's a major price reduction. But that's just me. I'd guess it's slightly seasonal as well and you are probably coming to the end of the busy season.
shao_khan
i like the big one you have - but that 6 wheeler wouldnt tempt me to hire.
M8CKN
About 100 yards from me thers a guy who has 3 SUV limo's in his drive, and he constantly seens to be working so there's obviously a market for them in the North (Im in Bradford)
Insurance Jon
is that oasis or unique limos m8ckn? The busy period is about to start. Proms, balls, airport runs, summer nights out! were turning a lot of trade away because we only have car.
mccombie_5
We had one for our school prom, a Ford Excursion stretch, the bloke who owns it was driving this one, and he had another one at the same event, and a third on order. There's definately a market for it.

Insurance Jon
the beast is made out the relatively small H3 hummer, and this is out of the H2. so ones long and thin, and the other is short and fat

Insurance Jon
they have been around for a while. my mates holds 24. It's just we are waiting to see what the legislation changes later this year will bring. I can only take 8 people on my licence, over 8 you need a psv. but there is a chance they will completely outlaw over 8s later this year, hence i'm looking at the h6
