Decked
Have you got the Revo Stage 2 code? If your running Stage 1 have it upgraded. You should be able to get the upgrade for around £50. This will eliminate this fault code I think, I've spoken to Revo about this and so far it's worked on mine. Something to co with lamba probes conflicting
Zenyck100
I have booked in for the stage 2 along with 2 new tyres hopefully this week. Have you had the stage 2 yet??
jimmyp
I have had an update for the Revo software, and it's supposed to improve the fuelling, ignition, torque etc etc. I'm running the car on stock mode at the mo but looking forward to switching back to performance to see if it's an improvement. Rocket_Man
[ QUOTE ] 16500 - Engine Coolant Temp. Sensor (G62): Implausible Signal [/ QUOTE ] I did a quick Google and found someone on AudiWorld saying they had the same issue. Changing the coolant temp sensor fixed the issue. Then you can wait for the light to come back on because of the exhaust (thats an easy fix cos i just did mine)
Zenyck100
Easy fix?? What was your fix for the exhaust??
Rocket_Man
[ QUOTE ] Easy fix?? What was your fix for the exhaust?? [/ QUOTE ] Firstly the problem is a common one with cars which have aftermarket exhausts fitted. The error code in VAG-COM is this: 19473 - Valve for Exhaust Flap 1 (N321): Short to Plus P3017 - 001 - Upper Limit Exceeded If you lift the carpet and foam "thing" out your boot you will see two groups of wires. In the group of wires on the right there is a blue-grey wire that goes to the infamous flapper pump. If you cut the tape back that holds the wires together (without cutting wires) you will find it. You then need to cut the blue grey wire (there's only one) and insert a 1-2kohm resister and tape the whole lot back together. Once this is done, you need to reset the error code using VAG-COM (or remove the battery) and the error won’t come back. I had the light on for nearly 4 months before doing this (drove me mad!) jimmyp
[ QUOTE ] False alarm guys, its my emissions light that is on [/ QUOTE ] I had the emissions light flash up and it was due to a coil pack misfiring, and if it stays on, it means (i think) that the cat is on it's way out. I hope you get it sorted mate.
