1monty
What a rip-off VW dealers are! Just been in & bought the cartridge of Haldex oil & got charged £11! That is £11 for a 1/4 litre of oil. That is £44 for a litre! Where do they get these prices from? You could get a b....y good bottle of wine for that or say 3 bottles of decent champagne! I bet it would have been cheaper at a Skoda garage! Just because you have an R32 they seem to think you are loaded!
Mook
Sounds like your wine is too cheap Monty! I wouldn't pay less than £60 for a nice bottle of Blue Nun or Asti.. It's the same with most things you buy from a main dealer - esp. oil. Take a look at the total charge for the engine oil next time you get it serviced. You could always go somewhere like German Swedish and French, Euro Car Parts or somewhere similar and get exactly the same stuff for a lot less

[/ QUOTE ] Skoda will charge exactly the same for the oil it is an RRP for VAG group and will have the same part number for VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda. It is not just because you have an R32 they assume you are loaded, they don't care what you drive that is the RRP set by VAG.
