Tizzy
Just got a 1GB SD card and am downloading mp3's to it for use in my soon to be fitted RNS-E system. Have two problems, which hopefully some of you guys who are cleverer than me (not hard!) may be able to help with: 1. Some of my tracks were downloads from Itunes. These are in .mp4 (protected) format - is there any way of converting these to .mp3 and how do I unprotect them? 2. Lots of the tracks I've pulled off CD's in the past are .wav files. This didn't matter on CD's as they could be read, but an .mp3 player won't read them. How can I convert .wav files to .mp3? Thanks (and apologies for being thick if its easy!) sayerbloke
iTunes should be able to convert between most of those types of formating. It can turn MP3s into MP4s [Via AAC] so I'd have thought it'd be able to convert them back. As for removing licenses... Try converting the tracks into CDAudio and then rip them back into MP3. Tizzy
Thanks for the response. Problem with Itunes seems to be that you can't change the .mp4 format as the file is protected - any ideas on how you unprotect them?
