Where have you been?! tongue.gif

There's been a fair few posts on that. They've got their 100k subscribers now too and plan to start sending out cards in a few months apparently.

Dear Members,

Just to let you know...

http://www.PipelineCard.org signed up its 100,000th member over the weekend. Well done everybody!

It will still be April or May before we can send cards out, but these figures will help to give us the negotiating power that we need to get a good discount for everyone.

Best wishes

I signed up for this a while ago too.

What I can't get my head round though, is what's in it for the fuel companiy if a huge amount of people sign up for it?

They'll just be selling their petrol cheaper. Why don't they simply reduce the price by 5 or 10p per litre as the card is supposed to do? confused.gif

I think the idea is that when you have half a million card holders, you invite the oil Co's to bid for the business.

This weeks cheapest source is JET / SHELL / BP / Tesco etc.

Due to 500 000 x 50 ltrs x £0.85 he can make money, we save money on fuel and Brand 'X' sells all its fuel. Brand 'X' being cheaper to buy because of demand, so everyone's happy.

All the guy has to do is email all the members and take a commission on the fuel Co's extra business.

Great idea, won't happen with Optimax!!!
