Dblanc
Hi, I have a 2.0T Cab S-Line on order and have been wondering if I should add the S-line Exterior styling pack. The price lists says the following, but this is worthless without pictures to help me make my mind up. S line exterior styling pack comprising: • S line front bumper • S line radiator grille • Re-styled rear diffuser Does anybody have any pictures of the B7 cab with the styling pack and without. Thanks in advance

Dblanc
Thanks Chav, now the question becomes, is that worth £
Sponge
I'm having great difficulty seeing the difference. If you have to look that carefully to see the differences, it does beg the question, 'Is it worth it?' But there's more to it than the styling though, isn't there? There are mechanical differences too.
Dblanc
Yes Sponge, must admit that I was having a problem telling the difference. What annoys me even more is they charge you £2400 to upgrade to the S-line and the £750 extra to make it look like one. Surely it is either an S-line or it isn't. P_G
I'm not convinced of the exterior styling changes, the mechanical can probably done on a retrofit more cheaply than factory fit (springs etc) IMO I wouldn't bother since the changes are so subtle, especially on the exterior. Lynas
Resale value on an orginal S-line more than not an sline?
cabby
The bottom part of the s-line front is certainly better looking but am struggling to spot the re-styled rear diffuser thingy. I agree that £750 is steep but would you be happy without it ?
Phantom
I have just spec'd that too, I personally think it is worth it, BUT I agree it should be included in the S-Line pack as standard. Another example, why do they include the interior light pack in the standard S-Line pack too ?, Audi seem to have a completely random way of defining their option packs in order to boost their coffers. Anyway I think the exterior pack looks slightly better than the standard front spoiler, the 'lip' on the bottom is more pronounced and I like the blacked area of the fog light grills, just like the B6 cab . The only visual difference in the rear difuser / valance is that it is grey instead of black, it seems to look the same. The only other benefit of the exterior pack is that you can swap the grill for the RS4 one as it is exactly the same size, vagparts do an RS4 front grill and I would consider replacing it. I am not too sure on the S-Line wheels, I again prefer the 18" 5-arm numbers and I would probably order those instead. I also noticed that if you include the exterior pack the car looks visually identical to an S4, apart from the chrome mirrors. OK you don't get the V8 badge and the quad zorsts but you know what I mean.

Milo
I don't why that front bumper and grille are part of an option on the s-line. They're standard on the s-line saloon so why are Audi making people pay for it on an s-line cab? Surely if you pay £2400 for an s-line you should at least expect to get the same fitments as a saloon for your money
