ChadW
Noticed over the weekend that on the righthand side of the rear end by the right tailpipe on a twin exhuast TT there is a black platic cover type thing that is stuck to the exhaust body itself, what is this? Also should it move a bit when you touch it and should it be relatively low, just below the same height off the ground as the tail pipes themselves. My instincts tell me it sommat to do with the CAT and because there are 2 pipes to contend with is is relatively bigger than normal and that am I just getting being paranoid about it all??? Scotty
You're not paranoid, you just haven't read the manual!! It's actually the cover for the towing eye. That is if you mean this bit of plastic here :

Thanks for the pic ScoTTy, would have put one up myself to show what I was on about but it was pelting down last night. Oh yeah nice shiny exhaust by the way! Scotty
If you carefully you can see the car is on the ramps. It was new Milltek exhaust (shiny), Koni shocks (shiny yellow), H&R springs (shiny Red) and RSTT wheels (shiny silver)!
