NewNiceMrMe
Actually, Beetle Convertible's are cool in my book. I followed two blondes in a black one with a red hood and red interior earlier today - and trust me they got a hell of a lot of attention in that car! SK, that one is crying out for you to whack those Herbie stripes and numbers on it.... Whoever is in the drivers seat seems to be somewhat shy. quattroboy
SK if nothing else, I admire your penchant for cars and varied experiences of a wide range of vehicles and how you manage to change them so often. I've had the same car for the last (nearly) four years and have spent the last six agonising over what to have next. Just showed Mrs. qb a picture of a Niggy blue RS4 Avant and she said 'Yes, that's nice, get one of those'. Maybe I shouldn't be such a plate snob and just enjoy the experience. RedRobin
My teenage daughter wants one in pink to match her pink T-shirt: Just my opinion but Beige is Boring. Black for that SS-look, or a metallic would suit the big rounded form - No, I'm not saying you got a fat arse! Great car though....Great fun. chipandpin
IMO that is the best colour Beetle Cab on the road - saw one at Ikea Warrington this week and it turned quite a few heads!
simonb
Not bad! Great car for summer. I like Beetles. Still not ruling one out as a future car! How about some 18" Monzas for it??
Oli
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] another [/ QUOTE ] is your passenger asleep at the wheel ? [/ QUOTE ] Why would anyone have a beige car? This will certainly affect the residual value. Last time beige cars were about was with Auistin- Metro, Maestro and Montego - NICE. Id have thought after 50 cars you might have got some taste in colours - Oh well it is personal opinion after all, and youve had mine now!!!! NewNiceMrMe
I wonder how some people would feel if some of the opinions given were to be said about their car? Might be worthwhile bearing in mind that no matter what you think, sometimes adding a negative comment about someones car, especially regular TSN-er's, doesn't serve any real purpose or value at all. RedRobin
I'd rather hear/read an honest opinion than otherwise. MrMe, you nearly always give an honest opinion and often strongly - In fact, I respect you for that! Anyway, SK is surely confident enough in himself not to care two poos what some others think about his choices. If HE enjoys it, it's all that matters. Surely no-one is such a sheep that they make their choices just to look cool among their TSN mates? Oli - whether it matters or not, to answer your quezzie: On a forecourt....Instant posing anytime they see a camera....Daughter quite serious about wanting to get a pink Beetle one day.
