VTEC_Killer
Hi Guys, I have a slight problem with one of my SD cards which I'm trying to upload music on. Everything transfers fine from my PC to the card and I can listen to all th tracks off it - however when I put this into the RNS-E it does not read all the folders. Some of the folders are not visable on the menu and I cannot understand why . . any ideas? I've tried this software called 'Tag&Rename' and although it 're-tags' each song file the RNS-E still doesn't read it! Am I doing something wrong as the SD card is brand new and don't think anything is wrong with it. Your help will be appreciated. Thanks, Sheraz
PetrolDave
Is it a standard speed or high-speed SD card? Some RNS-E's (mine included) just will not reliably read standard speed SD cards. Other possibility is do you have any "special" characters in the filenames (like !)?
VTEC_Killer
Hi mate - it is High-Speed 2GB card. I bought 2, one works fine while the other is 50/50! Filemames are normal as they should be i.e. file title, but I will double check. Cheers, Sheraz
craigyb
Here's a test, copy everything from the good to the bad and vicky versa, see if the problem moves, if so it's your files. If it stays it's your card. Craig

[/ QUOTE ] Just fixed "card unreadable" error thanks to you Dave had a couple of () marks in one song title that was enough to give it an error message
