Ska
I've been meaning to give the 8 my new car clean since I bought it over two years ago... Finaly got round to doing it and I'm well chuffed with the results Have a look see. After a wash, claybar four passes of polish, two coats wax and detailing I think I've restored the shine and depth of the silver paint, not bad for 9 year old car used on a day to day basis. Started 6.00am and finished at 8pm started with detailing the engine bay a bit and finished up with p21s wax, what do you guys think. I had four people come and ask me: 1) if the P plate was private and 2) if I was a nutter IMO the only thing that lets the car down are the wheels but will fix that on tuesday with the arrival of my 19" RS6 alloys During Polishing stage two: Engine bay: finished: another angel: and the toys are in the boot

Will22
It not that clean, you could have put some effort into it It does look new and I like the wheels but the new ones will look great. Started at 6a.m.
cruiser647
Good work fella! I like the wheels as they are. By the way, is that Sainsburys in one of the Ruislip's (west I think)?

[/ QUOTE ] Close but no cigar its the Waitrose in Ruislip, are you familiar with the area, Cruiser? The thing with the wheels are that they are untidy theres some kurb rash and the worst thing is the silver paint is fading at £65 a wheel to rfurm I thought I'd invest in a new set that will fill the arches better Oh yeah and the fact that some chav Tee-leaf has nicked them
Ska
Will the blue things are led cooling fans; they are cooling all the amps and processors behind that false wall, which also has a subwoofer enclosure. Its a testement to the shear size of the boot in these cars I can still fit the weekly shop and then some

I have to get into the boot to get stuff from the back(or is that front) of the boot.
Botang
Nice job Ska About two weeks ago I managed to spend 8 hours cleaning my car and the amount of comments Ive had since have been incredible. I must get round to taking some more pictures
Ska
It'd be great to see your pics Botang; your right about the comments most folk cant believe this 8 is '97. You know you've done a great job when you get these comments and if certain areas on the car stand out that much more like the rear quarter panel and arches. SneakyMcC
Thats not too bad Ska. I think you still need to practice to be honest I tell you what fella. If you promise not to tell the rest of the gang on TSN, you can perfect your skills on my 8 When can I drop her over?
