Xedos
Hi, Currently driving an A4 at the moment, and theyre equipped with 235/40 18 Dunlop Sport MAX tyres as opposed to the 225/40 18s on my A3. Im seriously thinking about going 10mm wider as these tyres absorb bumps so much more nicely than the Pzero corsa's Ive got on now (when they run out of course) Anyone tried this? Theyre quite a bit quieter too.
Cupramax
Your speedo will read wrong as the rolling circumference of the 235's is larger. I think 235's are too much for an A3, even the 225's didn't feel right on mine.
Xedos
They'd be 8mm larger or 1.2% bigger. Given the speedo overreads by as much as 10% anyway, it would make it a bit more accurate. The car is heavy and needs grip lol
Xedos
These tyres are now standard on the A3 MY07 in the US. I guess they are okay then certainly give a bir more supple ride.
