It appears that next summer I will be able to enter Cannonball USA! I'm entering with my dad as codriver, although we haven't yet decided what car or truck we will enter. I'm hoping for something classy like a pink dumptruck or such. Anybody else here going to be in the US and planning on participating? sayerbloke Posted April 30, 2006 Report Share Posted April 30, 2006 I first saw this almost a year ago and thought at the time it's a very adventurous idea... but if they can pull it off, it'll be amazing. I discussed it briefly with a mate before deciding we couldn't really justify the money. I've no doubt it'll be the experience of a lifetime, though. sayerbloke Posted April 30, 2006 Report Share Posted April 30, 2006 For anyone that doesn't know, it's being run by CBRE which is Tim Porter's lot [though didn't I read somewhere he might be selling up? ]. 4 starting locations on the east coast of the USA, 100 cars per location, all then driving the 3000-odd miles to the west coast along different routes to the same 2 day final party on a beach in California somewhere.
