Hants_Cruiser_UK
Does anybody know the name of the stuff that the dealers squirt all over our cars to stop rattles/creaks?? I have tried looking in Halfords etc, but not having much luck. It seems to be a clear slimey type of gel, which seems to be pretty good at stopping the creaks. I'd like to get some myself and have a go. I have heard it called dry-lube ?? My cab was covered in the stuff last time in went in. I use trim spray at the moment which is ok, but very temporary. I have used vaseline in previous cars, but am a bit worried about it rotting rubbers/seals etc. Reckon we could get some of them ?? Any idea guys?? Drillslinger
Did you check the link first though? Just making sure you're prepared, as Al said that the bottle pictured above was 35 GBP
apreading
See http://www.sjscycles.com/store/cat324.htm IF you want Krytox, then some cycle lubes are much cheaper than that. You can also get krytox at many boat yards.
Hants_Cruiser_UK
OMG much cheaper Any idea which one of those is likely to be clear/odourless ? Finish Line Krytech wax lube 4oz bottle or Finish Line Teflon plus dry lube 11oz 255g 325ml aerosol (I think I can just read on the bottle "goes on dry sets up clear") Has onyone else used any of these type of products before? Thanks again
