Lazer hair surgery

Guys

Naturally I am feeling a little down and self conscious after my wife has left and to pick myself up I was considering this type of thing. I am not sure of the costs but it seems to be the real deal and have plenty of users. I am not totally bald but thining in the middle should we say.

Lazer Hair

Anyone know anyone who has had this done, not talking about the old dolls head surgey.

shocked.gif I thought it was divorce girlie's that spend the money on cosmetic works, the blokes spend it on cars (registered in a good friends name) grin.gif.

Go for a full shave or a number 1, 2 or 3- short hair looks better, is still trendy and if you do decide to go on the prowl you won't have girls acting off when you mention having spent X £1000's on a hair cure that can fail and (I understand) requires vast maintenance and re-visits to the clinic crazy.gif.

Chill, be happy with yourself and people will notice that you are 169144-ok.gif.

Vanity is no substitute for a bit of personality and some bravado wink.gif.

Spend the money (not spent on hair) on clothes, a singles holiday and some speed dating fun.

Certainly sounds like you need some lust and some uncomplicated fun, just to get yourself back in the grove 169144-ok.gif

If you stay stuck in the old routines, then you'll feel rubbish. Use some money to make yourself feel better & do some stuff that you didn't used to be able to do - flirt with barmaids/airhostesses go out with the guys & just have a blast for a couple of months 169144-ok.gif

Come on AZ - see sense! smashfreakB.gif

People always love you for who you are, not who you want to be!

I get paranoid about going grey sometimes, but apparently women like it.

...unless she's just making me feel better of course grin.gif

A guy at school with me is losing his hair,(we call him 'mortgage') and is considering this, and IMO in both cases the opportunity cost isn't worth it. its gonna cost a vast amount of money, and the suggestions for spending it on here are IMO, far more fun. I understand you're feeling more self-conscious now, but go out, and spend the cash on pulling!

im a barber and my advice is LET IT GO!! Dont get the lazer thing done, ive cut guys hair before who have had this,it looks terrible because at the bits that have been lazered your hair might be thicker but months later other bits thin and then you hace to get they bits done too ie £££££££`more, and if you dont get it done again the already treated bits make the thinner bits look worse,SHAVE IT OFF.!!!!

I'm going through a similar follicularly challenging stage at the moment, although it's not yet that apparent. No way would I go for any kind of laser treatment or even a transplant. Why spend £1000s on something that is no way guaranteed to work and, when it does, might even look worse? Plus IMO the only person who gets upset about the appearance of someone going bald is the person themself. I don't think it makes the blindest bit of difference to attractiveness to women as long as you manage it properly:

AZ, Dont worry about your hair mate, I started to receed at 15 and it used to get me down, but as you get older you realsise it doesn't really matter, I looked into lazer hair treatment and that phoney Advance hair studio but its too high risk and too expensive for something that will never restore your crown fully so take the plunge and clip it off like me!

Indeed. 169144-ok.gif

Azure, a lack of hair is fine in the 21st century. With men shaving their heads clean anyway, it's a style you don't need to feel self-conscious about at all. A sign of virility too I believe! Similarly to Mike, my hair started to go backwards when I was doing my GCSEs. Noticed my first greys aged 22. Currently keeping my hair short, having it cut ever four weeks. My best mate thinks I am mad as it shows off the fact it is receeding. Doesn't bother me!
