JamesB
Hmm, I'm not sure that they don't look just a little too bling on a silver car. But certainly not as naff as I'd have thought before seeing them.
Avus_Bub
[ QUOTE ] B7 RS4 Rims on a B5 Avant? or should I stick with the B5 RS4's? [/ QUOTE ] NO! Stick with the B5's - IMO the B7 reps' just look 'flat'. They don't have the dish and character of the OE 19's............................. Sorry but they just don't look good on anything but a B7 RS4. What about these................? If you're gonna go bling, then it's got to be a set of BBS LM's But don't forget your toothbrush! J_C
Definitely a 'no' IMO. To me they look completely out of place. The B5 is a great looking car, and the B7 RS4 wheel also looks great, but on a B7 RS4! Mix the two and it just doesn't work IMO. It may sound boring, but to me by far the best wheels for the B5 S4 are the OEM Avus wheels that come with it.
alexc
Cheers for the pics Avus Bub, I'd love a set of BBS LM's, unfortunately my pockets aren't deep enough to pay the £2k price tag for them (with the tyres)!

J_C
Yes, I agree - I know exactly the wheel you mean. When you see those on a well-kept A4 Sport (especially a silver one ) it really emphasises how little the B5 has dated.

Paul
Im really struggling to like these new rims, they just dont look right to me. I think the RS only just carries them off, and im not entirely convinced on that either.

It's a shame they don't do a 19" version IMO the five spoke 18's look great. BUB
Paul
I like those. They got it right with the RSTT/RS4 and RS6 rims, they suited a huge range of Audi's and apart from MTM Bi-motos (in 18" and not replicas) I couldnt see any other wheel than the RSTT 9 spokes on my S3. They suit perfectly. I also like the the Avus II's ala 18ME's old car, i think they look well smart.
UBM
Deffo the RS4's (9-spokes)!
