Ari
Well after all the advice form everyone i decided to go with a good quality but low cost unit that recorded and played all formats. So I've ended up with this fella Panasonic DMR-ES15 What I really want is a unit with a hard drive, HD compatable, and Freeview, and that can do surround sound. But in the meantime this'll do all I want to do for the moment, and isn't so expensive that I won't want to upgrade in a few years.
drpellypo
Panny equipment is top class Ari, and proof that you don't need to spend loads of money to get something really decent. So when you starting bangboat.com then, what with your access to a boat, dv camera, dvd recorder, and beautiful women?
Ari
Hmmm... that might help to offset the petrol costs...
Sparky
I think you'll find he's already started it. Either that, or you'll need a new name for it

Frodo
Nice one Ari I bought the same one a few weeks back and it is fantatsic. For all my own recording I will use DVD-Ram and if I need to give a disc to someone else then use some other format. It is a great product at a great price
