fjfr
My car makes a loud creek when going over bumps in the road at speed, or speed bumps at no speed. Should I lube my brushes??

fjfr
Cheers So I just spray rubber lube all around the suspension parts? And is it a big problem or just a nuscience?

s3geezer
Mine does this too and ONLY when car body is warm, never first thing in the morning!! It's getting checked out by Audi when it gets serviced on June 2nd. It's the ARB or something like that I've been told. Apparently S3/TT ones are lame.... DannyB
Probably your front anti roll bar and bushes on the way out. Mine is the same! I require new bushes and a new roll bar for mine. I would get yours checked asap because my roll bar had moved across to the drivers side of the car and was hitting the turbo intake pipe! fjfr
Cheers guys!! I'll take it to the garage soon.
dickys3
As above, you may get away with lubricating the ARB bushes or simply replacing them, however mine needed a new Anti Roll Bar which is not uncommon. Good luck..
s3geezer
What is the rough cost for a new anti-roll bar etc?
ChriS3
Parts should be: 1J0411305AA Bar 52.76 +VAT 1J0411314P Mounting (x2) 15.56 +VAT Fitting is a pain as the subframe has to come off and you'll need a re-alignment afterwards. Not sure if you'd get much change out of 400 quid.
fjfr
feck. need to get high. 400 is waaaay tooo much tio sprend on the car
neo283
I had the front ARB bushes replaced on my humble A3 at a local specialist. Cost £35 on top of a full service. Parts are nothing, it's only some rubber gromits.
