mccombie_5
Liked the little run of "The Roof is on Fire" at the end...

Mook
The poor, poor bugger who owned the car. That must have been months and months of work in the making. I really feel for them.
mccombie_5
Yeah, it's a shame, it probably went like stink.
Rachel
Well - looking at the end of the clip - it seems like the front engine is relatively unscathed. So he only has to do 1/2 a restoration!
Mook
Yeah right! I guess he can save on a respray as well, and leave it as two tone - red at the front, sh*tty browny blacky sludge colour at the back

tainted_love
i dont see any fans for cooling or intake there...........
AntW
[ QUOTE ] i dont see any fans for cooling or intake there........... [/ QUOTE ] that was my first thought on seeing the video. Usually there ae some very large fans blowing air into the engine. Guy was a bit of a fool for sticking it on a dyno with no cooling, and the owners of the dyno should have known better. Paul
[ QUOTE ] i dont see any fans for cooling or intake there........... [/ QUOTE ] i dont think the vibration in the engine helped either. May have cracked/ ruptured something, as there was a shocking amount of movement from that rear engine, especially as its just behind the drivers head! [/ QUOTE ] Exactly what I was thinking. I don't think any serious motoring engineer would think the engine movement was right - there was far too much lift visible. Bad job, bad result. xspencex
Personally I thought the 'Carmen Electra celebrates spring break' video on the same page had more visual appeal....
NewNiceMrMe
Aye, I bet the bloke in the Golf felt just as big a tit though.
MOSE
Yep, cooler fans are a must. I had three of the buggas on mine as shown in the pic below. Also had two larger things sucking all the crap out the rear end.
Mook
[ QUOTE ] Also had two larger things sucking all the crap out the rear end. [/ QUOTE ] Weren't they to catch the engineers that got sucked in through the engine and spat out the back..?
MOSE
More than likely mate. Those fans create a hell of a lot of Noise!!
