AZURES3
Guys I test drove this car today, it was a month old demonstrator from Guildford Audi. First thing I noticed as the sales guy drove it round was the deep sound from the exhaust. I instantly reminded me of my old S3. Once on the move it was very impressive, steering provided much more feedback that my A4 and the 2.0 T FSI is a gem. It is much quieter than the 190 BHP tuned 1.8 T and has a far less harsh sound at the top end. It pulls very well in the A3, which I am guessing it much lighter than the A4. Only thing I noticed was a slight delay over the 1.8T almost like turbo lag. The look, the fit and finish and the drive were all very good. I get a 10% discount via my company so will be most likely ordering in the next 2 weeks. Expect to see mt A4 in the market place soon. AZ

AZURES3
[ QUOTE ] Did you ever try the 3.2V6? [/ QUOTE ] No to be honest as the 2.0 T was so good, I am sure the V6 is great but its not much quicker and the depreciation and MPG is worse. Chrisg
Her indoors would like one, but would have to be quattro .... and I'd like DSG .... so Audi, when ?? In the light of the new TT info( aluminium front end, alloy suspension bits etc etc) are we about to see a revised A3 range - as they all use the same basic platform ? I've read recently that the Golf 6 has been brought forward to 2007.
gizze
I would have got a sportback with DSG and Quattro if it was available, but it wasn't. Same with and A4 avant. Audi are raving about their DSG box, and Quattro is their brand speciality and they are not offering it on hardly anything. Maybe an S3 sportback with DSG will arrive, I will definitley consider it then.

No other cars.
