collease
As my car has now done over 110 thousand miles the pedals have become very slick and not very easy to keep your feet on. Is there anything i can do that might make them less slippery or is it best to replace them all. If its best to replace what should i look for. I dont want the car to look chavy so not to sure what i might need.
badgera
Why not just get a replacement set of factory rubbers..
collease
I know i could get them replaced like for like but was not sure if there was anything i could do to make the old ones better so i did not have to . like score the surface or put something on them to stop them being so smooth. Jon
It's the spiky stuff that is under the edges around the room not the threshold strip. You will find that the standard rubbers from the main dealer can be had for £10 or less. Jon.

garcon magnifique
I've been thinking about this, and I've come to the conclusion that 110,000 miles would have been alot easier with an engine.

AvantSE
[ QUOTE ] what is gripper rod? [/ QUOTE ] I was being facetious, but in all seriousness, whatever you do, make sure any pedal covers you might buy have rubber inserts - the plain metal ones are a nightmare if your soles are wet. Last thing you want is your foot slipping off the brakes.
