Soundwave
Just a quick question.. My car is a 2003 Mk4 Golf PD130 estate, and I think the clutch is just starting to slip (damn all those 2nd gear standing starts.. ). I want to get it REVO'd but with the clutch on it's way out, wouldn't stand a hope in hell! Ideally, I want to get the clutch done first, and with a decent one. Does anyone know if there is a performance or organic clutch which someone could supply and fit? Then I can start abusing it with REVO torque!! Cheers chaps. wcs_80
An OEM new clutch would be fine. Try Vagparts.com

Try Vagparts.com [/ QUOTE ] Cheers Will, I thought the oe clutch would probably be ok, but really, I just wondered if a performance clutch for this car actually exists. It'd be nice to compare specs, longevity, price etc. etc. I'm thinking that if the oe clutch is failing after just 61,000 miles, wouldn't it mean that a new oe clutch with a remap wont last nearly as long..hence the proposal. shao_khan
There are Performance clutches available, last time I spoke to RSD regarding my Bora tdi 130 they mentioned they would have one soon. www.rsdcars-uk.co.uk
