Hi im new :>

Now thats out of the way,

I have recently purchased the above car and being a coupe instead of a quattro i am finding it hard to find sites that sell upgrades, linked to both engine and performance as well as styling. Will quattro parts fit my car ?

Any sites or addresses that specialise in the coupe would be awesome if u have any :>

Also a small question tongue.gif

At 5200 revs APPROX the engine SUDDENLY loses power it jolts forward and is like the engine stops. letting go of the accelerator and reapplying / chaging gear makes the engine come back on line. notice this is not a stall action but very similar. anyone know what the problem is? or does it justneed tuning ?

Cheers

alx

tsr-performance.com and candrenterprizes.co.uk

do heads cams suspension etc and that is probably the best you can do as it is all basically old stuff these days. Your quickest performance is likely to be a 2.3 - 2.6 engine upgrade......but it will cost three times what you probably paid for the car. Nice cars, not driven a 2 litre but the 2.3 was fine . They all need a quality suspension kit , it works wonders for the looks as well !

hi, im new to this malarky too. ive got a similar problem with my ur quattro at 4k rpm. its the rev limiter cutting in and killing the fuel supply. as for why, try a new rotor arm under the dizzy cap. that fixed mine for a while and now its come back. yours may be a slightly different prob.

as for interchangable parts between the coupe and the quattro, im finding that pretty much everything that counts is unique for the quattro, ie it has five stud wheels where yours has four....

good luck. bob
