Chav
Morning all! So who's baby is most in need of some TLC? Mine... Gearbox not a happy chappy. Tip mode sometimes doesn't work Windscreen just changed due to 12-inch crack All 4 wheels scraped to hell and back Brake pads need changing Rear light indicator occasionally warns of bulb failure Glovebox stinks because of some milkshake that went off in there the other week Cig lighter lamp doesn't work Windows squeak (very loud) when raise/lower them Offside windscreen wiper falling apart (literally!) Still love the car. It just needs some TLC I think. PS. At least it still looks nice and shiny though.

Phantom
Chav, on the rear light issue, it may simply be a case of water getting into the light fitting. I had a rear light cluster replaced on my old cab due to this and the other one was on its way out as well.
kite
Are you going to sell the wheels and buy new one's As Mark says, I've also had both rear lights replaced on warrenty due to water ingress
Kell
Nine's looking sorry for itself a little at the mo as we've got a hosepipe ban and my missus took it to a local hand car wash thingy. Came back covered in swirls - so that's going to take me feckin ages to sort.
Scotty
It's your fault Kell. If you'd kept it clean using a bucket or two then she wouldn't have had to! p.s. I'm assumming you didn't see the state of mine at Gaydon It was clean under all the dust honest!

NewNiceMrMe
I reckon my 54 plate would win if we were comparing condition and performance to age. It's ESP hasn't worked since I got it. It handles like a dog. It's dirtier than a whore in a mud wrestling fight. It's glovebox handle has been wrenched off. It kicks out a lot of smoke at 100mph. Do I win? J_C
I always remember feeling sorry for this poor specimen after seeing it in Brussels last year. Obviously the nasty exhaust, stuck-on 'S' badge and whatever that thing is at the top of the rear window are only the beginning...
Chav
Update - Today the button thingy that you press to open the armrest snapped off. Also I forgot to mention the paint has come off some of the window up/down buttons - leaving a white edge too. Hmm..... German tat or a clumsy owner? A4_Family_Man
Some of these posts make me feel better about my car. One wheel needs a refurb, I'm losing the battle with stone chips, both on the windscreen and bonnet. Plus I've got a dent on a side panel through a stone on the m/way. You can look after a car as hard as you possibly but do 25K odd miles a year in it and you cannot keep it totally unblemished. But, enjoy your car - don't keep it wrapped up in cotton wool! look at Chav - a man who enjoys every mile!!
