lottiefox
A colleague of mine has finally decided she needs a sat nav (after being 2 hours late for a meeting and ending up in Portsmouth not Southampton ) Anyone thinking of selling their system? Tom Tom, Garmin anything really - she only needs a basic UK version to get her around! She'll look on ebay and I know there are some good deals new but just thought I'd ask here as well. PM or let me know! Cheers.
Mollox
Hmm I could part with my Tom Tom Go 700 (Full Europe maps, remote control, Speed Camera & Optimax database). I'll even throw in a custom splash screen. That's if the new TomTom is any good and worth getting over the new one... Make me an offer?
Scotty
Lottie - I've got my old Tunsten T3 Palm running TomTom software. It's up to date and has the whole of Europe (on a separate SD). The GPS receiver is hardwired to the cradle making it more reliable than the Bluetooth versions. Or is she after a portable all in one?
lottiefox
Scotty, I'm such a girl, how does a Tunsten thing work? Would she need it wiring into her car?
Rustynuts
There was a massive bulk buying thing going on here a month or so ago, and people were getting Navman units at a real good price. I got one, and it's well good. Anyway, some people stocked up in the hope of selling them on for a profit. They may have some left if you wait a bit, and they see this thread. Durrsaku
The New tom tom is great. I had the 910 for two weeks and used it over the continent. Only returned because it wasn't charging properly. So... £150 for your old one?
cerbera
Lottiefox - I have an Garmin Streetpilot 2610 which is just sitting in a cupboard as I don't need satnav these days. It cost me circa £1000 about 3 years ago and I'd sell it for £95 + P&P if she's interested? JT

CarMad
Lottie if you have an egg card you can order a Tomtom One from Dixons and get 10% off. Fits easily into a bag and has far better / quicker GPS than the old tomtom 500/700s etc. All yours new for under £

The only thing it doesnt have is real time traffic warnings. They sell out quickly at £99 so worth getting in quick
