mulkbear
I thought the ASV was a 115bhp TDI normal rotary pump ? and there was a few teething problems with the AJM 115BHP PD but i am sure that was the very first Passat not the Golfs
mulkbear
My mistake the ASV is 110bhp
martin275
I had a 115bhp Passat which was 4 years old when the lease expired and had done 90k miles. I took it on when I got a new job and it was 2.5 years old with just under 50k miles. I didn't have a single problem in the time I had it. Mook
Mrs Mook had a 115 TDI which we sold after 120K miles and it never missed a beat. Doesn't speak for all of them, but make sure all the usual work has been done on the car like cam belt change etc.
sotty
Mines done 90k and runs sweet, no engine probs whatsoever. I get it serviced regular and had a cambelt change at 60k. I came from a V6 Mondeo to a Golf Tdi and unless my V6 was crap, I reckon the Golf performs just as well. (if not better!!!)
benjie
Mine's on 140000 and still going strong. (It's a non-PD though)
