pras1011
I prefer the way that the A8 looks. Anyone else?

Golfer
Ive had the choice and had two 8's, An S8 and 3.0TDI (PXing)for the new 4.2A8TDI, so three in all and NO BMWs.
nikw
You can't get a 7 series with four wheel drive
Woppum
A8 any day. The 7 series is a pig. All round id say best of the bunch is the S-class, but the Audi is the best looking
garcon magnifique
I'm not a big fan of the current 7 series. I thought the previous incarnation in Sport trim was lovely though. Of the current cars, the D3 A8 is simply classier. Best of the full size execs by a long way IMO. (The S Class will no doubt continue to get better reviews, it may even be a 'better' car - but I just... couldn't! )
pras1011
Dont know about the S class. They look ugly and reminds me of something my grandad would drive! My N plate A8 looks alot better than most of the newer cars. I would say that arent that many cars out there that are better than a A8 (I know there maybe lots of disagreement with my statement)! Whats a D3?
Woppum
I think when you are talking about these sort of cars it really is probably more important what the inside is like than performance, external looks etc... It will be worth your while getting a test drive in you favorite choices, then take the S-class out as well as a base of comparison... pras1011
Looked at a few S600. Still prefer the A8!

Ska
S600 I assume your talking of like for like year? If so its a very comfy car but handles like a super tanker and looks like... like a tissue box on wheels . The 7 is not a bad car but it looses out on styling and where I live theres too many on the road only a few 8's... I get the chance to regularly drive a mates 7 and trust me people tend to stand stare at the Audi more makes me feel a bit un easy though sometimes
ashleyadam
A8 everytime the 7 just looks like a lump of unstyled metal interior is standard compared to decent spc A8. Stick with Audi you know you want to.

cruiser647
The old gen 7 was a lovely car. Certainly looked good. The new one is just an ugly tank. The 8 is classy and stylish. Not an ugly line in sight.

Ska
granted but any thing less than that 10 gallons per mile v12 suffers in that range against the 8. I've even irritated a 420 driver through the cotswolds in my 30v a while back BTW who drives the Maybach? Does he/she have an hgv lisence or ppl?
