Grand Tourers is causing the most disagreement so far.

I voted Italy for that, initially I thought Britain, but then thought about the Maserati Quattroporte and Ferrari 612 smile.gif

It's the one that caused me to pause longest as well. Even though I created the post, three people had voted before I submitted my choices! blush.gif

I can't even remember which one I settled on now. Guess it depends how you define "GT" up to a point 169144-ok.gif

And it was me that said Japan. Just bacause it was Lexus that woke them all up to make them as good as they are now. Still think the Lexus LS430 / 460 is the best top end exec to truly give a luxury experiance.

If we are talking sporting thats another matter entirely. grin.gif

I can't help but notice someone has voted for Britain in the "Executive saloons" category...

Jag/Daimler/RR/Bentley???

[/ QUOTE ]

Its a bit of a stretch to describe the products of the last three as executive saloons.

And its debateable if any can really be described as British anymore.

It took me a while to ponder that one too. First I was thinking M6, SL65 but then immediately the 612 sprung to mind and of course the fantastic 599 notworthy.gif

Italy super cars, and germany for the rest 169144-ok.gif
