Beef
Morning all, I had another car from ecurie25 this weekend, a bright orange Caterham CSR260. As some people on here just take the piss or act like jealous schoolboys i thought i'd let those who were interested in my posts read it over on Pistonheads: Pistonheads ecurie25 thread Feel free to comment here or there - and check out the videos too..... All i ask is that i don't get the usual spam from people who are petty and can't seem to get their head around the fact that i'm a member... P_G
Sorry you feel like that Beef, I've always found TSN pretty liberal and take a pinch of salt with a lot of comments. I could only imagine that you get some flack because of 2 things, partly to do with jealousy agreed but perhaps also your low contribution to the TSN forum in terms of posting. I imagine that some are wary of newbies as it were, rightly or wrongly with the amount of scamming going on. I have read your posts on cars from the club with interest, don't give in because of some petty comments.
Alastair_A3
That looks slightly quicker than mine! Pity it hasnt got the new CSR dash layout. Is is new? I thought caterham had sorted the cockpit heat problem. Thing about the CSR is its just too much money for what is at the end of the day a Caterham. But hey if money is no object i'd go for it. Simonl
Looks like a right laugh Beef, you were literally having a blast!!! Looks like it had the same kind of pull as your average sport bike, what engine was in it?

Beef
Oh i'm not going anywhere! I was just having a crappy morning at work, so my post probably sounded a bit like a grumpy old man! It doesn't have the new dash layout, its got the fancy carbon fibre lightweight dash. The heat soak was appauling in the cabin, doesn't seem like they've fixed much! It has the Ford/Cosworth 2.3 i4 260bhp engine in it, so no monder it goes like it does! Even more impressive is that that was done with two 15(ish)stone people on board! I for one defintely am and besides being a little green-eyed as I'm sure most of us are, good on you for being a member, one day hopefully I might be! [/ QUOTE ] The problem for some members was that he was so enthusiastic about ecurie25 [and a relatively low post count] that people started to wonder if he worked for them and was using TSN as an advert. I think most are now happy that that isn't the case
Wallachie
That thing looks and sounds like an awful lot of fun! I would love to hear what the cops would say if they ever got sight of that hooning video!! Not that they could do anything about it though, with no registration shown! Chav
Wonder if we saw you yesterday Beef? Bright orange Caterham. Didn't see model numbers. It followed us (grey S4 cab) for about 10 mins when we were driving somewhere between Melton Mowbray and Stoke. We got lost at one point and waved on the caterham to go ahead? It went like stink round the corner!
Beef
Nope, that wasn't me. I was in the Essex area, Hanningfield to be precise. Lots of nice roads around there. As for the police comment - in the hooning vid i never went above 60mph, and the 0-100 run was conducted on a private closed road. Your honour. randellp
I like it when the passenger says something like "good brakes too" when that van pulls out, and Beef has to slam on the anchors. And also the fact that the video ends just as you see cyclist swaying all over the road. I wonder what happened to him....!
Beef
I pootled past the cyclist at a reasonable speed - i'm a cyclist myself and was once an MTB courier in manchester, so i know how annoying it is when cars terrorise bikes! I once got 'nudged' by a bus whilst couriering, quite bloody frightening i can tell you... The driver didn't like it when i followed him to the next stop and he found 6'3 of courier in his face! Plus this was before they had those fancy plexiglass screens around them! Needless to say, with witnesses and his details, i got him fired for that stupid shove. I hope he ends up homeless, stupid - i could've gone under the wheels of his bus!! Anyhoo, my little rant was a smidge off-topic... That van pulling out was a definite test of the brakes!
