sayerbloke
Looks like there is a piece of dirt on the "8" on the numberplate... UBM would never allow that!

simonb
Just looking at that pic and i never really realised earlier what a minter that old thing was - just took notice of the plate really!! Will try and nip there tomorrow and see if it's still parked there. Was in a quiet residential area so there's a good chance.
Winton
Great spot - tis an old Series One. One of my mates' Dads had one rotting away in a garage so, being a grand old duffer with a few quid, bankrolled said chum and meself to rebuild it. Took us about two years on and off, but come our 17th birthdays we had her back on the road and during the summer months we used to drive her down to Skegness. Have to say it was brilliant watching all the chavs gettin pi$$ed off as we cruised the boulevards of Skeg. The amount of thumbs up and smiles we got from the folks on their hols was ace.
