i usually take her through from woodford via Bonis Hall Lane or across to Adlington past the hunting lodge, down the A34 for a blast (that time i was setting up the turbo, ready for my chipped ECU next weekend!!), up across the cat 'n fiddle then into Buxton - pop into my Aunties for a brew then blast out of Buxton, through glossop twisties and home.

That's the long run (1 1/2 hrs) ! Short run (45 mins) i prefer around wilmslow, then go out the back of Mobberley through Ashley near runway 2 - great roads, but a little too narrow for the Starion - perfect for the Megane 169144-ok.gif

I quite like the A34 to Congleton (or as far south as time permits) then A54 to Buxton, back over Cat & Fiddle to Macc. Or, A523 to Leek & A53 to Buxton etc. Tricky in Staffs though with the cameras. Quite a good run round the back of Poynton, but you really have to wait till dark to avoid horses, other cars etc as the roads are narrow.

I also like Castleton/Winnats Pass/Rushup Edge/Whalley Bridge or reverse. No cars, & its a real blast with the Tiptronic ECLIPSe.gif
