Milo
Just testing the water here. Would anyone be interested in a set of 4 (probably 5) brand new OEM 15 spoke alloys for an Audi A4 DTM/Special Edition complete with brand new tyres (I would imagine Dunlop SP9000). I'm asking because the new car arrives in September and I am considering changing the wheels. It would depend on whether I could get a decent price for the OEM ones which will be fitted to the new car. They are the same wheels as shown on my current car:

charlie61
how much would you be looking for
Milo
I'm not 100% sure to be honest 5 new 18" Dunlop SP9000 tyres fitted are £600 on their own At the moment I'm trying to decide whether it's worth upgrading to 19" RS6. They don't do an OEM 19" RS6 wheel suitable for the A4 (at least I don't think they do) so they would have to be replicas which I'm not sure of. I would want a tyre upgrade to Dunlops or an equivalent rather than budget tyres so it depends on what the package price comes out as. The other thing is replica wheels come in sets of 4. The new car should have 5 full size alloys (this one has) so if I sell them as a set, I need to get a spare from somewhere which = more £s Basically, if I do it, I need to get sufficient money from the 5 new OEM wheels/tyres to cover the cost of 4 replica 19" wheels with decent brand tyres plus a spare
Paul
Milo, as an idea, id say you would be looking at atleast £1000 (+) for delivery mileage OEM alloys and tyre set.
Milo
Cheers Paul A few people have PMed me and that was what I said i.e. £1000+ At £1000 though that's still only £200 a corner (assuming 5 corners ) which considering it's around £120 just to supply and fit the tyre, it makes the OEM alloys look too cheap
collease
would they fit my golf?
shao_khan
With adaptors yes.
adwhitworth
They are very nice wheels. If I had a £1000, I'd be round there like a shot.

shark_90
Just to add to the mix - I wouldn't put replica wheels on a car if you give it a bit of a hammering every now and then I had reps on my old A4 and they were never right, there was always a judder that felt like bad wheel balancing at around 80 coming through the car (although I tried balancing at three different places) and they also get damaged more easily than "proper" better quality wheels. Sportecs or MTM's fair enough, but not a cheap, low quality replica. Think twice before you do mate
Milo
Interesting Shark I've always had concerns about replicas regarding the quality and weight of the material and homogenous castings. Funnily enough another TSNer who I contacted about his replicas has took the time to reply. He reckoned his 19" replicas were very soft and prone to damage. I'm still not decided on what to do; one thing I do know is OEM 19" RS6 wheels are out of the question due to cost. As for "pressing on" every now and then, not me Guv'nor
Dadstoys
Keep an eye out on fleabay. I managed to pick up a set of second hand genuine OEM 19" RS6 with tyres for £650 inc delivery. I didn't bother joining in the bidding - just phoned him up and made an offer. They do appear every now and then, just keep an eye out. Milo
I didn't think geniune RS6 wheels fitted the A4 (certainly not with the 255/40/19 tyres). As far as I was aware the 9J width and ET46 offset + 235/35/19 tyres did not work with the A4? Anyone?
P_G
They do the S4 fitment pattern in the five spoke RS6 style design Milo with 235 40 R18's or 245 35 R19's on the options list for S4's now so I imagine these would also fit most A4's
Milo
P_G, where did you find that info? The lastest Audi pricelist list on the S4 only offers 8Jx18 wheels (with 235/40/18 tyres) as far as I can see. The only '4' I can see with 9Jx19 wheels is the RS4 (with 255/35/19 tyres)
P_G
It's a while since I looked at the configuratot Milo, trying to avoid temptation. But when I looked approx 4 months ago I'm pretty sure the configurator had 18" as no cost options and then the 19" were in accessories. Milo
To the best of my knowledge they've only ever offered 18" wheels (8J) Mind you I was wrong once in 1998 so I'm due another one
