clown Posted August 30, 2006 Report Share Posted August 30, 2006 Exhaust System Warning Lamp Lit today,just after driving over some silent policeman.(The humps in the road)this has stayed lit,I know the book mentions reduced quality of the exhaust gases,as I cannot get to a dealers before Monday of next week,all busy after bank holiday,have any of you any ideas please. edo Posted August 30, 2006 Report Share Posted August 30, 2006 had this myself - exact cause (for me) turned out to be "running rich at idle". Reflash of latest software has so far proved a sucess. clown Posted August 31, 2006 Author Report Share Posted August 31, 2006 Thanks for your replies,I disconnected the battery to day,once reconnected the light had gone out,will be using it later today lets hope it has gone for good,if Not then I will take the car in on monday as planned.
