Chav
Apparently it's a known bug - Audi you 's. Very steep hills stop the roof retracting properly. They don't know why! If it ever happens to you guys, follow these steps to workaround the bug.... 1) turn off ignition 2) manually life the rear metal panel to 90 degrees (yes, the big heavy one that rises/lowers and goes over the roof when its retracted) 3) turn ignition on 4) use roof button in centre console and it should work again. If roof is almost closed when it decides to stop, you can manually pull the roof down into the boot, after manually lifting the rear panel. You don't need any fancy roof tools to do that, you just pull.
Cupramax
Would that be facing up or down a steep hill? I regularly park on my parents driveway which is like the north side of the Eiger and no probs with mine???
Chav
Is it a steep hill or a VERY steep hill? Was facing up. Incline was about 1:3 (driveway of a hotel on a steep hill overlooking Bath)
Phantom
I thought Ari discovered this problem on his first cab ?, I guess there must be some sort of tilt/angle sensor in the cab to avoid stressing the roof too much in steep hill conditions Did you get any better valuations/offers for the S4 cab Chav
