A4_Family_Man
Apologies for the repeat posting, but I wondered if anyone here could help out: Well I thought I was finally getting the car in shape, had it serviced, alloy wheel repaired and dent fixed by Chipsaway. Feeling car proud and then I noticed what looked like a sticky blob on the dash. Hadn't noticed it before (Audi courtesy clean??) So I duly tried to wipe it off; resulting in it growing larger. On closer inspection it turns out to be a scratch. It looks shiny and sticky like an underlayer to the 'waxy' finish of the dash. Tried to polish it out, used one of the dash wipes etc. No difference. Anyone else had this and know what I'm talking about? Anyone help how to make this look better? S3ENVY
Aren't certain pieces of the dash actually painted black? I know they are in my S3, maybe it's the topcoat wearing off to reveal the shiny plastic underneath?
