Interesting photo on there of the wide spaced exhaust showing that they have moved quite a few bits about in order to do it and that it has a set of bypass pipes.

I guess they get away with that as the turbo quietns down the exhaust noise ?

Very nice but just wondering a few things.....

Is this based on a "Genuine" MKV R32 as I know HPA offer Engine and drivetrain conversions. Couple of things make me think this... GTI Front bumper, Custom rear valance and spaced out twin exhaust. Oh and the instrument cluster isn't the same as in a MKV .:R nor are the rear lights tinted. Albeit the US market might not get the Euro spec rear lights.

The only other thing I wondered was the quote in the artcile that states "all 4 wheels spin off the line" I though haldex upgrades only helped with rear wheel traction and not lock it out confused.gif

Looks like the front wheels are spinning here:

Regardless of what it used to be it looks to be one awesome car and can only imagine what it must sound like. 169144-ok.gif

Just a followup to my previous post about the origins of this car..

After claiming many many times that this was a real MkV R32,

Marcel at HPA finally admitted that it actually started out

life as a Golf 4motion 2.0 here

http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2800221&postid=31878033#31878033

Although he still seems to be trying to spin it as though

this somehow makes it somehow automagically compatible with

the R32 built on the same chassis..
