[Audi A3/S3] Chorus VS BOSE

Hmmm.

I have a decent Pioneer head unit, but never intended to put it in an S3, because it doesnt go along with the stealthiness of them. I didn't want to go down the route of installing after market speakers and amps, devaluing the car in the process.

Any way, this is what I've spotted.

Seems a good price to me confused.gif

Cheers,

I wouldn’t buy one without the Bose, I like my music and IMO the Bose makes a big difference over the standard set up.

I was faced with the choice of two near identical S3’s when I bought mine, one with heated seats and no Bose and one with Bose but no heated seats. I know the heated seats are good but you use the stereo every day but the heated seats are only any good in the winter.

Bose every time for me.

To tell if it has got bose you can do one of two things (other than hear the difference)

1) Look in the hatch above the left rear wheel in the boot - you should see a Bose Sub.

2) All speaker grills in the car have a Bose Badge on them.

I was used to an aftermarket sub before I got mine and the std. sub is more than adequate for 'normal' usage... Although if you want to rattle windows you may want something else!

Ps Have a look in the classifieds on this site... All prices are very negotiable! wink.gif169144-ok.gif

It should also display 'BOSE' on the screen when you turn the head unit on.
